Educational Resources *
Students will use a variety of online educational resources and services to support student learning. LESD verifies that resources/services we use have been vetted by district staff and have been deemed as appropriate for use with students. In addition, these resources/services comply with COPPA and FERPA.
In accordance with COPPA, a teacher may act as the agent of the parent or legal guardian of a student and provide consent on behalf of the parent in order to use vetted online educational services for instructional use.
As required under COPPA, parents can make certain choices regarding the use of online educational services. Parents should submit the request to opt out of any of these services in writing to LESD.
