Parent engagement is of utmost importance to us. In addition to encouraging students’ learning at home and school, parents are invited to volunteer throughout the schools. Family nights and parent education events are presented at school sites to strengthen our home-to-school relationships.
The Local Control Funding Formula and the Local Control Accountability Plan have given us the funds to provide new and/or improved services based on the needs of our students. We offer all-day kindergarten and a teacher/student ratio of 24 to 1 in all grades TK-3. We have added Social Workers, Community Liaisons, English Learner Specialists, Math Coaches, 5th grade PE Teachers and many other services to support our students and families.
As we continue to move forward with passion and purpose, we are encouraged and grateful for the help and support provided by numerous community partners. We have been fortunate to create incredible partnerships in the areas of academics to benefit the social, emotional, and physical wellness of our students. These partners play an important role as we all pool our resources to ensure the success of students. As Helen Keller said, "Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much."
