Realizing Amazing Potential

About RAP

Where formal education ends the RAP program begins.

The LESD Before and After School Program, known as “Realizing Amazing Potential” (RAP), offers a range of services and activities, including homework help, visual- and performing-arts classes, physical fitness, organized sports and journalism, among other things.

The RAP Programs has been the recipient of the Golden Bell Award, which recognizes innovative and sustainable public school programs that make a difference.

RAP Summer Camp Applications Now Available!

Applications for this year’s summer camp are now available for all students who are currently enrolled in the Lawndale Elementary School District, grades TK - 8th. Our adventure theme this summer is iDiscover Camp.

RAP iDiscover Camp is from June 19th - July 28th.

By joining RAP iDiscover Camp, students are less impacted on the learning loss that occurs in the summer. Please join us this summer and allow your students to develop skills, discover new things and have fun while learning. If you are interested in having your child attend RAP iDiscover Camp this summer, please pick up an application at your school’s front office or with the RAP Program Supervisor at your school.

Spaces are limited so please submit all applications ASAP. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the RAP Program Supervisor at your school.
